Ciggy filter never arrived...
IC is still in bits - but should progress quickly now that Offender90 has bought a shiny new welder and plonked it in my shed.
I am in Germany at the moment - which hasn't helped progress of course...

That's one trippy looking manifold. Do you know what the engine was out of?
That banjo fitting on mine goes to the injector pump oil feed, but no reason it can't head off and feed the turbo.
How does that work?
Don't know for sure. However it had the hump on the rocker cover, and apart from the Manifold, was identical to the 4BD1T next to it, the latter looking identical to the truck engine in Murray's install thread.
When I say "Late model" I mean last of the (NA) 4BD1s.
Hey Ben, I noticed that you've used bolts on the exhaust manifold instead of the existing studs. Do you have to or did you like them better?
Cheers Col
Aha, found it.
This manifold Ben has found with the end inlets is the later 4BE1 manifold which I have currently found for sale for not much.
With a plenum that large I want it, but one question: "Will it fit"?
I'm worried about bonnet clearance and injector lines. Are you around to give us some measurements Ben?
