Boosting any high compression petrol engine is just dumb. The last guy I know who tried it welded a couple of 4AGE's into solid lumps of aluminium.:imwithstupid:

5psi can make a maximum of 30% difference, that's with perfect intercooling of course.
15psi with perfect intercooling can double your existing power.

So has any one turboed there county and managed to keep the aircon ???

I still have the original aircon. My turbo is mounted on the drivers side immediately under the intake and above the oil filters and a pipe comes from the exhaust manifold under the aircleaner and into the turbo. Everything works good. There is about 2 inches between the compressor outlet and the intake manifold so no lag at all.
