Hino never made any 4 cyl engines in the period between 1980 & 1995. Toyota had 3.7 L 14B (1988-1995ish at least) while Mazda had 4.0 & 4.6 L 4 cyls (1989-1995 at least) Don't know if these had some Perkins influence or was that just their earlier ones? Sometime between 1991/1993 Mitsubishi had a 3.9 L 4 cyl in their up to 6 Tonne Canter range. FWIW.

Our 1HZ powered land cruiser here is back in 3rd on the same with no load on tray and has smaller tyres.

I'd like to put a fridge on this thing and get a bit more so can keep away from the new V8 cruisers in the hills:twisted:

No to tricky:(

But if you look straight up from the hose clamps on the fuel lines you'll see an allthread screw with a locking nut, that operates an external cam, that's the baby;)

Yours is NA right? Cant see much harm done other than fuel smoke if you take it to far.

I am actually backing it off as it is contributing to my over heating issues. I went to far when I did it a few years ago

A turbo will fix that, as long as you don't wind the snot out of it.
MF135's run hot normally, but the family business has a turbocharged one (no fuel increase) which never ever gets close to hot, despite the half dozen or so radiator cores which are damaged and soldered closed.
