Is this a Series three Stage 1 3.9 Isuzu

So whats the final verdict, is it a 4BXX or what is it. Surely the seller can have a look on the block and tell you what model motor it is.?

Bearman it is a 4BB1 motor appaently there was an adaptor around to fit these to series vehicles.

Yes it is/was. The one I'm familiar with is also quite a lot smoother than a 4BD1, probably due to the shorter stroke. I believe it also revs higher but the truck it powers has no tacho.
