I use a cable shift, 6 speed Isuzu box (I have no doubt that it is stronger than an LT95). Used a cable shift lever from an old toyota corolla. It's pulled apart at moment due to swap from one vehicle to another, so I can't take install pics.
There should be several other front wheel drive vehicles with cable shift at the wreckers.
The corolla shifter has 2 cables. Each cable is pushed/pulled, one when the lever is moved forward/backward, the other when the lever is moved left/right. The Isuzu box has 2 levers (one on top, one on right side) for each cable, to select the gears.
