Thanks very much for the offer, I might actually take you up on it. I suppose it would be a pretty easy process as it would already be packaged when it gets to you, so you would just need to re-address it and post it on.
The auction ends soon, so it might finish before you see this. But if you PM me your mailing address I could contact the seller to see if he still has the manifold and take things from there.

    Cheers, Murray

$200 seems a bit excessive, Bojan said ~$65US 6 months ago.
Maybe the guy just doesn't want the hassle.
I'm guessing the manifold probably weighs about 6kg ?? Along with Bojan, does anyone else have experience with shipping costs from the US to Aus ?

I have just shipped a 6.4kg parcel from the US (Arizona) to New Zealand, cost was $US105.

This is approximately how it would work out to get a new manifold from the States to Aus with the help of a fellow member in the States (Paul)

    Buy Now cost --- $95US
US post to Pauls address ---$20.76US
International post according to USPS calculator (see below) --- $107.70US

    Total of ~$223US = ~$293AU

It might work out cheaper than this as I've been generous with the weight allowing 8kg. Going by Dougal's postage amount, it seems about right.

It all works out to about a $50 saving over buying one in Aus. Not a huge amount, but I might give it a go and see what it does end up costing.

Murray - my manifold (see thread) was about $320 from Major Motors ISUZU in Perth (inc GST). I would be seriously surprised if you couldn't ring around near you and find one cheaper.

    Thanks Ben,
I've actually bought the one on Ebay, even if only as an exercise to see how it all ends up cost wise. It's not really clear to me yet just what the postage will cost, so, with Paul's help, we'll give it a go. Post could be ~$65US, or ~$108US. Either way, I don't think I'll be out of pocket too much.
I might call a couple of the local truck parts suppliers just for interest anyway.
