I've replaced one in 490,000km - does not seem to be a major weakness.

Scratch that... Rovacraft's COMPUTER system said they had 2 in stock, but I drove all the way over to be told "we can't find them":mad::mad:
At least they will send parts from the east coast direct to me, rather than Major Motors (ISUZU) who charge exhorbitant courier expenses from over east but won't send parts direct
I am continually reminded that WA really means "Wait Awhile"
Fortunately mine only did it at part throttle...
I bought a spare one, I can confirm part number NRC5494 is correct. Or at least that's what I was given by LR spares when I asked for one for my Isuzu County - I haven't fitted it yet, but it does have the threaded bit on the engine end of things and looks just like the one that's fitted.
:eek: I must have been ripped off, my genuine LR one cost over $100! I did think this was very expensive at the time, but *really* wanted a spare for a remote trip I was doing. A good spare to carry though and nice to have one under the drivers seat just in case! :D

I see the aftermarkets ones in the UK are about 6 quid vs genuine at 45 quid.
