    The Isuzu bellhousing puts the starter motor lower than the landrover item. So you may need to notch your chassis rail for clearance.
    Otherwise no problems.

    AFAIK (I'm just working off memory which is not clear because it was not an issue that I ever considered) Isuzu clutch fork and slave cylinder are not compatible with the rover flywheel housing.

    Will this be easy to work around? (e.g. modify the rover flywheel housing to clear the Isuzu slave cylinder, or modify the Isuzu bell housing and clutch fork to suit rover slave cylinder)

    Yes quite right there is a clearance issue.

    Easy option is to modify the flywheel housing, however you will probably agree with such an item so rare one woud prefer to leave it as standard.

    The solution I am planning to go with is to mount the slave cylinder to the adaptor ring in a slightly different location. This may require cutting the two mounting lugs for the slave cylinder of the Isuzu GB bellhousing - won't know until I bolt it all up.

    Have looked at this and as far as I can tell from my measurements it *should* just clear the chassis in the 110. Pretty close though, not sure how much clearance once you start getting the 4BD1 vibrating. Plan to check this when I fit the Gearbox.

    Are the 110 chassis rails further apart than a rangie?

    Ok, break down in price;

    Housing $

    Laser Cut end plates welded to tube, with stiffner/mount, retaining the GB output seal in the original location.

    Shaft $

    4140 One Piece Machined shaft that bolts to the output flange of the gearbox.

    Gear Change Assembly $

    Everything needed to mount the hi/lo/difflock levers up, and change gears in main box.

    *Will require chopping up/down lever off GB and a replacement welded in place

    Landrover Flywheel Housing Adaptor $

    Mount GB with clutch slave cylinder

    *May require chopping slave cylinder mounts on GB bellhousing off

    Total $ for a swap from LT85/LT95

    Additionally required;
    Isuzu GB
    Clutch splined to suit Isuzu GB
    Isuzu Spigot Bearing
    Hi/Lo Lever
    Passenger Side Gearbox mount

    Pretty confident I can get the price of the gear change lever assembly down. However, considering it is not finalised yet this what the numbers are saying after I have been over it a few times.

    Have been ordering.....

    Have five (5) sets of housing, shaft and adaptor rings ordered. Collecting late next week or following week.....

    Want to test gear change assembly in vehicle before having any made. Want to check clearance in this region plus swing/angle of main lever. I have one working on the shed floor and feels good but not of a standard that I would ever put on someone elses vehicle.....

    I don't believe so. How much did you have to notch?

    About an inch each way off the corner on a 45 deg angle. This is without a body lift but with a very compact starter.
    Between my body and the top of the gearbox is tight enough that I'm going to have to play magician to get a cable or linkage gearshift arrangement working. Where the side-side lever exits the top is currently shaved flat.

    You are aware of different output splines on the MSA boxes?
