For simplicity of design, my conversion puts the pattern to;

4 2 R
5 3 1

It would need a much more complex linkage to reverse the cross pattern. and give the:
R 2 4
1 3 5 pattern.

so the shift pattern is reversed? Probably should mention this somewhere Sheldon:(
