Welcome to AULRO.
I'm guessing you bought the ute off ebay yesterday, looks like a lot of fun.

Yep it`s the one of Evilbay. So Shonky you have been in the ute,so do tell,do tell, what`s it like?It certainly reads ok for what I want (a cheap enough 4wd used of road a fair amount and in the harder stuff when needed.)Always been a fan of diesels and have heard good about Isuzu`s.

Just so we are clear, I am referring to this one:
I went for a ride in it at the Land Rover Owners Club "Khanafari". I don't know if the owner was a member or a tag along. Either way you should join the club - great cameraderie and the Tuff Trips will be right up your alley in your new steed.

The truck started and ran just fine. No mechanical issues all weekend to my knowledge.
Was a very capable truck, and that Isuzu Diesel lubbed away very nicely. It just walked over everything. Cosmetically, it could benefit from a bit of a tidy up, but there are no glaring "ugly" bits.
From my limited experience with the vehicle, I would suggest that you will well and truely get your moneys worth out of it.![]()

That looks like a lot of work has gone into it!
What running gear does it have???
Shonky that`s a beaut pic and it`s good to hear that it goes well. Will be getting it this Friday. It will be heading south of the border then.So the test drive is a big one.As for neading a tidy up,compared to what I driving now it`s a thing of beauty. My soon to be (hopefully) ex beast will be on E bay as well in the near future. So any one interested in a Landcruiser/Dyna hybrid 4wd truck keep a eye out for it on E Bay.

If you're looking at joining a club, there's a few of us Isuzu Landy enthusiasts in LROCV
Looks like a nice truck. Maybe we'll get to check it out in the flesh one day ??
I've heard the 3.6 litre Isuzu referred to as the 'high output' version of the engine, because it can rev a bit higher, but the 3.9 is generally the more popular engine.
