Hi I am looking for an oil cooler for a 1985 110 with a 4BD1 engine,
Could any one advice on where to get one from, new prefered

The mechanics were in the end able to repair the element, and re-mount it.
Thanks for the truck options, but id did not yield much results, and Isuzu in Canberra is not a very helpful lot, as soon as you mention Land Rover they give up.

I do, so long as you get the RIGHT person at Major Motor's (Perth). Two of the guys there are really helpful, the others aren't and quite frankly have attitude problems. One of them said "we don't do anything for Land Rovers", so I pointed out the Industrial 4BD1 engine parts book they have on the desk to their left with "Army Land Rover 4x4 and 6x6" written on the front of it.
There are many vaients of the 4BD1 and lot's of bits are different on the LR factory fitted motor to say a truck motor (like hoses, thermostat housing, oil filter housing, etc.) but so long as you know that the motor type sold to Land Rover Australia was a 4BD1 'RBG', then you'll be right.
