    Discovery with 4BD1

I know this should be under marketplace alerts, but we don't want everyone to know, do we?

Landrover Discovery 1996 - eBay, Passenger Vehicles, Cars, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 16-Nov-09 21:47:15 AEDST)

Funny thing is I would'nt even have looked at it if it were'nt the same model & colour as my wife's disco

Wow, why would you go to so much effort and then sell it? Looks like a good job from the pics.

Sounds like a good deal, if only I could stand the noise they make.

I will forward to a mate, he dreams about Izusu's.
    Thanks for the link.

Sure, but why didn't they do that when putting it in? Now you'd have to re-route the exhaust and intake, not to mention how easy it would have been to put in oil lines when the engine was out.

Can an R380 box handle the torque?
Can the front diff etc handle the weight?
Interesting, I wonder how much of a squeeze it is getting the motor in.

It's non turbo so the R380 won't be too stressed. The front axles have no problem with the weight.

Would a 4 speed box fit if you put a 4BD1T in a disco?
