The 120 for the first time ever refused to start today
The shutdown actuator had chucked it in I think. We have power and its shows resistance. I have no manual on this thing so do any of you have a diagram on the wiring and the two control relays that look after it.? The problem has been intermittent til now.
I'd go the cable stopper but was not legal in 1989I also like the turbo timer.
For now I have taken the cable off so I can use it.

The only problems I have had with mine have turned out to be dodgy connections on the wire that sends a signal from the ignition to the unit. There is a connector behind the dash and another near the brake MC from memory.

This is from an Isuzu truck manual - might help!
If it's intermitant, it probably the relay mounted near the clutch MC. This can be open and cleaned, then resealed.
But if you've noticed the actuator running slower and slower, you will need to pull the motor out of its bag and dismantle it.
With mine, the bush that the armature runs in had siezed on the shaft, but just need a good clean and a dab of grease to fix. There was also a bit of rust so a good squirt of WD40 wont hurt it either.
Good luck!
Bruce.
PS - the fuse for this cct is behind the instrument binnacle ( very handy)

Had a similar problem with mine. Sometimes took a while to turn on until it eventually completely stopped working. Went to check out the relay and found the earth wire had broken. Re-attached it and it hasn't missed a beat since!
you can buy 12v actuators just like the land rover one from any good truck wrecker they even have them with 2 meter cables so you can put it in the cab nice and dry ive bought 2 this way for 50 each

I think I exchanged emails with them last year, it was going to be about $260.
