Can anyone recommend Terrafirma TF122LT extreme travel shocks?

Just for reference with these shocks you should be able to run standard geometry and bushes at both ends. But you will get more travel and longevity from the chassis bushes if you run cracked arms.

Retaining the springs may limit travel slightly but it's preferable IMHO. All my springs are retained and the rear still utilizes over 13" of travel at each side.

mate brought the +2 travile shockers. he is very happy with them..

Got my shockies last week, wow they are long!, they're sitting in the garage at the moment waiting for me to lift the car and make the brackets for them to fit.

They'd be going in an '83 RR which will have a 2 inch lift, and I'll make extended shock mounts. I guess I also have to get some extended brake lines too... (can anyone recommend a length?).

I've been priced $660 including GST for 4, from rovacraft in Sydney, suspension stuff also quoted me $600 for 4 procomps of a similar length, would these be better?

I'm quite tempted by the Terrafirma shocks, and will try and bash the price down a bit ;) :wasntme: :twisted: :D

Just wondering how you went with these shocks as they have come up on my list of possible shock choices for my 95 disco. Would be looking at raising front and rear top shock towers longer brake lines and some heavy duty 2" coils wanting to keep it Victorian legal and need new shocks before roadworthy.
Wont be running dislocation cones but figured the 5" shock should give me plenty more travel with only a 2" lift.
