Series 6cyl vs Stage1 vs county V8 firewalls.

I have a County V8 chassis that I'm building on to

I do have a Series2 4cyl firewall that has been opened up to allow the fitment of a V8/ZF already but,

Does anybody know if for fitment purposes onto a County V8 chassis with V8/ZF, if there is a difference between the Series IIa 6cyl firewall, Stage 1 and the County V8 firewall.

I'm suspecting the tunnel shape is one aspect.

I'm already aware of the padded dash, various hinges etc.
    Cheers

I think they are all basically the same except for the differences you mention.

Stage 1 bulkhead is the same as the 4cyl one. 6 cylinder bulkhead is different near the tunnel.

Thanks Chris. Is the S3 4cyl different to the IIa 4cyl one in that central and tranmission hump area? Perhaps then the 6cyl needs more room that the V8? Maybe for me the problem is actually the ZF needing room rather htan the LT95?

I think the 2A and 3 4cyl bulkheads are the same re the tunnel. The stage 1 v8 sits a long way forward so that the heads clear the foot wells, that is why the radiator and grill moved forward also in the stage 1.

Ahhh, ok. I may have mounted the V8 a bit further rearward in my ute in that case. Thanks!
