    Drilling intake manifold and tapping for boost gauge 300tdi

    Just asking if anyone has done this and recommendations cheers

    There is a bung at the back of the manifold, couldn't tell you the size or thread, but you can remove it and screw a barb in there and you are done!

    Yeah I see that there is a threaded one. There’s some sort of sensor in it and I don’t know what it’s for

    Have you got the electronic distributor build on the injector pump?

    if so thats for and adjustment on the pump as part of the control system.

    theres a handfull of ways of getting a boost pressure reading on a tdi depending on what you want to read. if your're after the really easy one, just put a T on the wastegate controller or put one on the line that runs the boost compensator (1/4 inch truck airline pressfit is the one you want) over on the pump side.
