Reminded me of the Alfa Romeo B.A.T. Concept Cars of the mid '50s :)
I saw them at Silverstone one year and was amazed at the quality.
Pretty sure that the hurricane also ran the XU1 drive train being a 186s with triple su carbies. I'll check out my GTRXU1 book in the next few days. I'm sure there was pictures and details of the hurricane in there. From memory this beast even had a reversing camera way back then.
To be honest I'm a bit of a Torana nut here I love the XU1's
I'm sure the hurricane is rear engined using a 253 but there was a torana XU1 based conecpt car that the name escapes me- found it GTR-X .Quote:
