Part of the beauty / allure of this race is the difficulty in having a car capable with a suitable tune over the 8000ft elevation. Having an electric car that has 100% torque at any one time at of the motor is a bit of a let down.

But the sound... seems like they have warning buzzers to let the spectator a vehicle is coming

(love how he powerslides around a dirt hairpin bend on the side of a cliff face, with the sun in his eyes.

I'm impressed.

Imagine what he might have achieved if he hadn't lost 50% of his power before the halfway mark.
