I thought McGregor did a splendid job.
He will agonise over the fact he didn't go in guns blazing to attempt a knockout in the first few rounds, but to his credit he put on a great display of boxing until his legs gave out.
Karen & I went to the local to watch.
Enjoyed it immensely, Connor was gracious in defeat, pretty gutsy to step out of his territory to fight Floyd.
Neither should be unhappy, Floyd will earn around $300m & Connor earned at least $100m,....not bad for a guy who was earning $300pw & living in a council house only a few years ago.

Excellent game plan by Mayweather, too classy a boxer. Waited patiently and slowly started to pick his punches. Credit to Connor for lasting as long as he did, heart of a lion.
I tip my hat to Connor for stepping outside of the square. How much interest do you think Mayweather Promotions would have had in it if Floyd had to meet Connor on Connor's turf ?.
I have absolutely no interest in it , but glad to hear people were happy with what the so call fight of the century produced.
sadly we had to see what lots of booze and watching a fight does to people when a brawl broke out at a pub we drove past going home .
cheers Ean
Lol!!...Not much.
But seriously, it was a pretty good fight. Both men were trying pretty hard, and there was a lot more action than in many of the big name fights We've seen.
Absolutely no drama/aggro etc in our local, where the fight appeared to be very well received.
Perhaps the only "complaint" was that some thought that it was stopped too early, although looking at the finish in slow motion, Connor was taking some really heavy hits & could not defend himself.
