Well, I know there are many detractors for this type of racing on the forum,....fair enough, there's lots of sports I don't like either, for one reason or another.
However, as a person who has watched this race sinse it was first telecast in what?..1968, this is THE BEST "Bathurst" that I have ever experienced.
Simply an amazing race,...... who knew who was going to be the winner, until the last few laps?
And for Betty, who has taken plenty of knocks, and the Erebus Team, a well deserved result,....the "little guy" can still win.
Well done Betty Klimenko.

Sat on top of the mountain today and watched the whole race. Fantastic finish

You must now cut down the tallest tree in the forest... With... A HERRING!!!!!
Those drivers are some kind of crazy! Loved it!
I'am a Ford man , but was happy that sombody other than the All Bull team won. Good to see Dave Rennolds get there he has always been an under rated hard driver & the luck has not always been on his side.
Great win by the Erebus team
Just imagine the Red Bull teams talk in the garage after the race..
umm,i wonder if we can work out a way of not throwing Bathurst wins away...
Aahh well, it's Monday morning, now have to get back to normal after a most memorable Bathurst.
I normally don't like a rain affected race, but this time it was not heavy enough to cause "rivers" across the track, but certainly enough to test all drivers, & put strategies out the window.
Second biggest crowd ever, which is pretty good, considering the wet day yesterday. I also read that Bathurst is the biggest sporting event in NSW, but I don't know whether that would be true or not.
It will be interesting to see how the additional partners to the Walkinshaw Team work out,...three separate owners,...a bit different to the Penske inclusion,..everybody knows who "pulls the strings" there.
