The bowlers doesn't have to be in on it, they just recognise which side of the ball is smoother than the other, and shine that side as they are allowed to.

smith is just as a guilty as warner. he turned a blind eye. he's meant to be leading the team, he's done just the opposite.
bancroft i might have some sympathy for depending if it was his idea or not. did warner put him up to it? would he of been able to say no to warner?
The root of the problem it that the sport has gone out of high level sports and been replaced with profits.
