It’s a game nothing more.
Playing cricket or any other game is not a real job.
The players are not heroic or worthy of the ridiculous admiration bestowed on them.
In all they are obscenely overpaid children with no real contribution to society that couldn’t be achieved by the same people without the monstrous pay packets and media hype.
So what do you do when children can’t play nice?
You take away the game and send them home to do chores.
Playtimes over IMO for most “iconic” sports.
But while ever someone pays to watch one of the most boring things on earth it will continue.
Some of the behavior is just bullying, no other word for it. Our team is notorious for bad behavior. They say it's a tough spot and their targets should toughen up. Then they arc up if someone gives them a bit back, which they deserve. Warner is a classic example.
It's just bullying. Other sports control bullying and so should cricket.
They could learn from our women cricketers, who are great role models

India , who control international cricket , are paid by multi millionaires of which there are more there than the whole of Australia's population.
Corruption exists at all senior levels, everything to do with the game is tampered with.
Look at the incomes offered to players in the bash and giggle t20 series that is growing stronger all the time.
Why wouldn't a player succumb to the disease that surrounds this sport?
Someone offered someone a great deal of money for this latest episode.

It doesn't matter whether corruption/ball tampering or other dodginess exists at a local level or not, on an international stage Australia has simply set itself up for a fall. The fact they admitted the ball tampering was a pre-meditated decision has just made the fall further.
Pretty sure their pay checks allow them to make it a full time job no matter what your opinion is of what they do. [emoji6]Quote:
