If he knew what was going on, he shouldn’t have been given the chance to resign, he should have been sacked to show Australia 🇦🇺 means business.

The stain extended to Lehmann, he did the right thing by resigning.

The next big question is,,

who's the next Captain?

I can only ASSUME Tim Paine is a nightwatchman...

Paine is experienced. This is a big opportunity for him.

Lehman's resignation is interesting, after he initially refused to go. Cricket Australia may have decided Smith's tears were not enough contrition to satisfy the public.

The big difference between the two is this episode is blatant cheating, the under arm bowling episode was a legitimate ball in cricket at the time under the rules, no cheating and in line with the rules. Distasteful, yes absolutely but not in the same category.
I have empathy for those involved but no sympathy, should be life bans and is time the ICC actually stepped up as well instead of being the joke it has become.

Not sure he did know. Apparently when he saw the vision as it was played, he was straight onto Smith asking " What the F was that?" If so he did not deserve to go. The actions of these 3 are going to be long lasting and destroy a lot of careers.

I dont think leeman knew,, and he certainly wouldnt be pressured by anybody to go( as in, he would disregard said pressure),
I reckon Bancroft's appeal will halve his sentance, CA wins nothing and gains everything by being seen as not heartless bartards,,
I was happy with Warners interview, he took blame for what he did, no-one can expect him to name anybody else,, if he didnt quite answer some questions,, really what did you expect??

Apparently when Lehman saw the TV footage he radioed the 12th man to get out and ask Smith for an explanation. Of course, it was actually Warner who put Bancroft up to it. Smith's offence was failing to stop Warner from making Bancroft do it, I read. I don't have any sympathy for Warner - he's just a nasty piece of work.
