Hi Pedro, that’s the type of memory that will eventually be used in a solid state camcorder and I would imagine that it is not too far away.

They reckon that memory maximum doubles in size every 18 months and it take about 13 Gb to be able to the record 1 hour of NBQ video equal to what a 1 hour of MiniDV tape can record.

So it may be a few years yet but not too many, I HOPE.
