Any Landy Loving Scuba Divers Out There

Curious as to whether any keen scuba divers out there.

Possibly consider knocking up a Dive Trip?

    Cheers

Diving has no borders so to speak

Adelaide to Melb is a comfortable drive, at least until you hit SA roads. I have been over to Port Phillip Bay to dive on some wrecks and Walls.

A good long weekend or 4 days is comfortable. Throw in a footy game and it is well worth a trip either way.

    Get back in to diving.

I haven't been diving since moving back to Australia from Norfolk Island in 1993.

I should throw my dive gear out.

    Re Divers

I started diving in 1978. Was NAUI,s youngest instructer in 1980, and this is what eventually got me to Australia. Spent a month diving in far north Queensland in 1995, while on break from studying Cardiac Perfusion (Running the bypass pump for cardiac surgery). Every Australian I met: Smoked, Drank, ate red meat, and put Cream on everything, so I knew there had to be an active cardiac program here. When I was offered a job here, I had no idea where Melbourne was, but I gave a resounding Yes!! Just too bad the water is cold. Have become "soft" (not to mention round) in my older age. It has been several years since I have been under the bay, and I miss warm water diving. Will have to head north this winter, and get my toes wet again.

Mudnut, I am going to try and get myself up to Cairns for a few days in July for a 3 day liveaboard. I did one last October, pretty good. Let me know if you are interested.

    Cheers.
