    Music

Here's a place to record your musical tastes or share your newest favourites with the rest of us.

For me, I have very wide musical tastes from Blues to Metal, and most things in between.

All time favourite band: The Doors (who needs drugs when you have music like this).

Close 2nd: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Also in my top 10: The Clash. Led Zeppelin, Midnight Oil, Pink Floyd, U2 (the older stuff), Bob Dylan, KISS, ALice Cooper.

Most under-rated Aussie Band: 'The Saints' - great brisbane punk band.

Best Aussie Surf band : 'The Atlantics' (I work with Jim Skiathitis' son).

    Latest Discovery: 'The Killers'.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Mmm, i've got a pretty wide taste in music. I'm a huge Living End fan and Fastball are pretty good as well. Don't mind a bit of dire straits, meatloaf and a few others either.

Interesting results so far. I have fairly wide tastes, mostly not including the noise that passes for much modern music. My favourite is probably Bach, but I also like most Beethoven, and a lot of Mozart. Gilbert & Sullivan, yes and much of the twentieth century musicals. Wagner, no, but some exceptions. Some Country and Western, some Folk music. Not keen on plainsong, but there are exceptions. Verdi, generally yes. Generally like orchestral or organ music, but I can like all instruments. Self taught player (not good) Button accordion, mouth organ, harmonium and psaltery.

Normal radio stations are Classic FM or ABC Local radio.
