40mph Just...................lol
For those who know abit about Euro cars....... the Volvo 164 Manual in injected form was a genuine 123mph car and quarter mile in 15.5sec..... depending on traction on the day......
I rallied one exactly the same and my claim to fame was i could beat a Stock GTHO to 90mph...... then they roared past.......
it was 240hp and 4.11 gears...... made it very tough off the line... but no top end...
Ohh i could go on for hours about what i did and what events i had some fun in..... ahh nothing better than the look on a WRX drivers face when you pass them on the outside of a corner......
I know what they can do, just picking on you cause it's a VOLVO. Do you wear THE hat when you pass the WRX's? Now that would be funnyOriginally Posted by sclarke
A PRB clubman composite, I'd just need to loose a few kilo's to fit my fat body into it

When you put the key in the ignition the Hat lowers down from the headlining......Originally Posted by dobbo

The most fun I've had on 4 wheels, and yes I fit into them! More room than most small cars!
I once drove a fully worked ex NSW highway patrol car that had a high ratio diff, straight cut gearbox, super hot exhaust and sticky race rubber. The shreik and vibration was incredible but it was like a gokart with plates and a roof. Seriously fun. The best bit is that $10K can get an awful lot of Mini you can fit more of them in the shed.
While I can appreciate cars of interest, what I can't understand is how normal mortals can justify $50K or more in a car when less than $20K can get you some of the most fascinating two wheeled machinery.
