See what happens, for once I open myself up to you guys and try to be serious, and all I get is bragging about tertiary qualifications and insinuations of self abuse, and all on such a benign and feelgood topic, thats it, I'm going back to being a smartarse.

Now now crump, we all like to see the little birds flying around the forest. It's just your hobby, we respect it and admire you for being a man and opening your heart to us all.

    We love you Crump

Love seeing wildlife in it's natural habitat.Been into the Amazon caught a anaconda, been to the Galapogos islands and that was unbelievable.Basically been right round the world and next up i won't to go to Antartica to see the penguins and would love to see a sea leopard in the wild.Any trip whereever you go is a chance to see something amazing that that you may never get a chance to see again.People need to open their eyes to the world around them once in a while and then maybe they'd see what it is that attracts us to getting out into the bush and wouldn't criticise our access to these areas.

    G'day all!

I enjoy getting outdoors, just like all of us here I'm sure!

I've only just recently really got into the wildlife side of things, but i've been going out into the bush to key out plants (mainly bush tucker) for quite some time! And love every minute of it! Which is why I spend most of my spare time out bushwalking or driving around to different places to check out all the different plants and plant communities. And I'm currently studying all about the environment at TAFE!

    cheers,
    bryce

I used to take a lot of photos of birds, especially when I went on trips to the Kimberley. Don't have much time now and the number of species is limited down here (heaps of bloody miners and gulls though).

Went to Christmas Island with work once and witnessed the beginning of the annual march of the crabs down to the sea.

    Crump,

I do the same as you, except I mainly chase dragonflies around the country. I spent 4 weeks in NW Qld and NT last December photographing species that have never been snapped before. Had an absolute ball! Except we went in a 80 series Cruiser (bloody awful thing).

Heaven for me is being out where no-one else goes and seeing things that people don't even think about. Hopefully I'll be up there again this December for another good trip!
