The Leaning Tower of Elon was on the ground for 8 minutes...
8 looong minutes,, enough for nearly all the Utubers and SpaceX itself to turn off the feed.
I wonder if Space X just blew it up....
lots of good reasons to do so--

Why do they call it a StarShip as it cannot go anywhere near any stars other than maybe the Sun if all goes really wrong.

Same reason Elon chose Tesla as the name for his cars. Excites the imagination.

Then again, maybe he's just on an acid trip...

Except Musk didn't choose the name Tesla, he didn't even found the company (but did buy in early) pushing the original founders out

2009 lawsuit by one of the two original founders(Eberhard) who was forced out by Musk files for damages.

Musk tried to remove Eberhard from the founders list, hence the lawsuit.
But as a precursor of Musk's vanity .. he had to stay on the list of founders .. even tho he came into the picture a year after the inception of Tesla.

soft landing primary booster VTVL type rockets are not new.
Ask anyone who invented it, they'll all probably answer Space X
Reason for this is Musk's uncanny ability to dupe .. oops! .... err .. convince!! the sheeple that he invents everything.
So he ends up with an intensely massaged ego complex.

VTVL has been around (successfully) well before Space X ever entered into the race!

Thunderfoot does a great series of how Musk seems to have this need to re-invent just about everything .. and con the world(usually tax payers) out of their hard earned.
According to NASA, SpaceX is costing them more now per launch(when using their services) .. contrary to Musk's claims that it's going to cost 1/10th.

Yes, Thunderfoot does a good job with this (and everything else too). The Electric Jesus fanbois hate those pesky facts getting in the way of their worship to the messiah.
