    No mention of these?? Sure, Le Mans, not F1, but so was that Aston, and these two are arguably far more famous.

    I believe it was christened thus by Ettore Bugatti, the Italian who preferred Germany. He found himself in France after WWI, without having moved. He was ****ed because the huge Bentley beat him conclusively at Le Mans. Old WO knew his onions... and garlic.
