I'm still here, still looking after Kal and Esperance cadets. Not to quick on the feet at the moment. I just had a Hernia Op. No more

I was a navy cadet at T.S Barwon in Geelong. Made it to PO.

It was the best time of my life, (so far) apart from having a daughter.

I met my now wife at cadets.

And was state cadet champion for corsair sailing for 2 years in a row.

    I miss those days.

I too, met my now wife for the first time at Cadets

I've got two NZer's that I work with at the prison coming on board. One is still currently with the Territorials (engineers) and the other was in armoured for 22 yrs. He was RQMS in his last unit and assisted with NZ Cadets so they should be good value. I notice your GS ARN is similar to my 79 FFR, ends with 857.

I was at the camp at wagga as an AC. what an experience that was! we worked our asses off while the CUO's sat on thiers and did f@#k all. until i found all of QLD SQNS CUO's lazing around, made them march back to the parade ground, and drilled them into the ground for around 3hrs.

I joined in 1989 at 7flt nambour, then transfered to 23FTL at caloundra when it was formed. made cdt cpl, then cdt sgt, then cdt cpl again! did that a few times (had a few co's and staff who were complete *******) and then became staff for 18mths then quit.

I did start going to 20flt at everton park, but became an instructor with the SES cadets scheme, and now am a 2ic at a Emergency Cadet Group, as well as being in the SES as a team leader and instructor. Been in SES for 13 years now.

Hi, I was also in 20RCU Ashfield (85-91) and attend many cadets activies with Trinty Gramma School & Fort St High and came back around 94 when it was 215 RCU Fort St (was change as Fort St High School discontinue cadets, and members transfer to Haberfield, Army keep fort st name as it was one of two of the oldest cadet units - the other kings school.)
