    Barry,
    The circles are from crops, mostly for cattle feed for the dairy in the bottom of the pic, from memory. The crops are irrigated by centre pivot sprinklers, with the Adelaide to Darwin railway line cutting through the middle.
    As the pic was taken well into the dry there is a good contrast with colours
    During the flood in 1998 all this area was under water for most of the dry season.

    Thanks for the info Greg. I was raised on a dairy farm so round paddocks are new to me.

    My Dad always told me to get in the corner out of the way but I would have no hope up there .

    Now to figure out the current pic, I have no idea.
