If you are ever down Pt Cook way in Vic. stop by at the RAAF mUseum and watch the Mustang flying display. It flies regularly. On your way to Pt Cook, stop at Werribee, not to look at horses but to look at the Liberator that is being restored. The admission is dirt cheap. I was given a personal tour that took more than an hour so i donated a lot more than they asked.

I remember a 45rpm recording of that BRM - a colleague had it back in the Sixties.

    Glorious.

Now have you heard a Deltic diesel loco engine? Smooth unadulterated power.

Have you seen the crankshaft and cylinder arrangement. See Animation of a "Deltic" internal combusion engine

A running scale model of this Deltic was featured in an English model engineer's magazine a year or two ago. I was a tradesman machinist and I would not even think of doing this.
