There there Pedro there's no need to snap.
I live in a house with a Jack Russell...I'll ask her.....
.....maybe I should ask Sal..... she's a Psychologist and Jewish.
Now I'm confused....I think that I'll have to lie down
An Englishman, and Irishman and a long nosed jewish dog called Oy walked into a bar.......
...ok maybe not .... sorry Pedro.
I had a Bully-X called Molly - RIP who hated border collies, almost guranteed a skirmish every time one came near her. Go figure!!!
Have Oscar, a bully-X, mastiff, ridgeback thingy (was a stray and adopted Molly and us about 8 yrs ago) beautiful dog, probably the best I've ever had, but is very nervous of men, I guess from a beating too many it eventually ran away from. Only slightly better now all these yrs later.
Dogs, as pups are a lot more impressionable than humans, you can stuff a dog psyche up for life in a couple of weeks if youre a complete Tw#t
Fully understand Guiness just liking the other cattle dog more, entitled to its own opinion.

We have black & tan kelpies, Australian coolies and a couple of healers at the farm. Between themselves they have sorted out the pecking order and peace usually reigns (but not always ) However what happens when a strange dog visits is one of life's little mysteries. Sometimes the stranger is welcomed and sometimes not. At times there seems to be little reason for this. Obviously a new dog with an attitude will be badly treated. Our dogs are disciplined to never start a fight but it is impossible to teach them to walk away from deliberate provocation. The guidelines loosely appear to be:
Make sure your dog is well socialised. It should behave itself in the company of other dogs, not pick fights and respect other dog's space.
Make sure your dog sees you as the pack leader and will respond to your commands no matter whatever else is going on.
Some of my dogs are not afraid of bulls that frighten the daylights out of me yet they still respect me as the pack leader. At the end of the day you will get a bit of a feel of trouble brewing but not always. Good luck !
Sorry, there just isn't anything I can think of to say that's funny and not offensive.
:p
Cheers
Simon
