    disc space

I've been wondering how Vista (C drive, operating system only) could have grown to 68GB---

It seems that SOME vista's dont limit the size of system restore points storage folder,,

46GB of system restores was probably 40 too many--

    back to a managable 22GB C drive.

    22gb is still unbelievable though---

    HDD space is cheap.
Restore points can come in handy

I am quite happy with Vista,,
it seems a lot more robust than xp,,
I think I've had one BSOD since I built ROME,,

    and that was early on,,

I was looking at a new game called GRID,, yes, its a driving game,,
    but the specs require--
    wait for it--

    15GB of disc space

I remember the original doom came on 5 floppies

I cant equate to an OS that requires 22GB when up and fully functional,,
yet I'd be happy to load a 15GB game,,,

    go figure...

yea, but 15gb for something like a game is worthwhile....

1kb for windoze (or virtually any other micro**** product)........ gross waste!

Scary isn't it! I've got 2 1TB NAS units and 2 500GB USB drives without the 1TB+ of disc space on my PC's

And to think the first PC I used had a (from memory) 120kB 8" single sided floppy drive!
