Looks like it takes a bit of steering!
I have heard it said that those earlier 911s were a bit of a handful at the best of times.
Yeah, the balance on that is appalling. No doubt half of the Porsche chassis setup was trying to get rid of the pendulum effect of having a rear engine.

In my misspent youth I drove an FSM Niki quite a bit.
Similar deal with the handling: rear engine and swing axle rear suspension.
Not to mention the transverse front leaf spring. Maybe the power and brakes weren't quite the same either
.
ahhh thems the days! I still recall my dentist restoring and hoting up a Fiat Bambino using some FSM Niki parts, including the big bore 650cc (over 500cc IIRC). I think when he was lowering it, he turning the main leaf upside down at the front so the eyes were on the other side of the leaf!

652 cc of raw power...![]()
Damn, gonna have to go into town (or my mates) to watch this.
and speaking of little Fiat's, I totally forgot that my mad cousin (we all have at least one of them, I'm probably that one to all of mine) nearly bought a little Fiat 850 (I think) Abarth once, so he obviously brought along his big cousin race driver (at the time)
My god, singer sowing machine sweet engine and tons of revs, we terrorised the back streets of Mount Druitt and Whalan for about ten minutes.![]()
