Hey Sleeps what was the models of that you brought the other day,I hope they where rovers.
I have got a couple of Land Rovers put away for when I get organised but these were all my speciality, WWII aircraft - A Shorts Sunderland, a Spitfire and a B-17 (you know like the "Memphis Belle") - they are all 1/72. I am yet to set up myself a little work area so they will all stay in the box for now.
I want to build each variant of the Spitfire - I think there were at least 15 - probably more!
the Spitfire is one beautiful aircraft, I remember one flying over years ago at Rutherford Aerodrome and the sound from that Rolls Royce Merlin engine is never to be forgotten, they had the engine on a static display and it is one large mother of an engine, I believe it powered certain variants of the Lancaster Bomber and certain variants of the Mustang Fighter, which was another beautiful aircraft, I would love to hear the sound of a Messerchmidt 109F flying over, never heard one!!!:)
'ere Jas, I've got a 1/24 scale Trax model of an FJ with all the factory options fitted the quality is brill, I've also got an Holden Monaro GTS by then too

We had two different Spitfires flying at last year's Ardingly Show.
One of them's coming back for this year's event. :)
Ooooo! that sound!
designed by Mitch Reginadson, sometimes known as Joe to his dog Spit;)
They have a half scale Spitfire at that little Airport near Lochinvar where they restore Tiger Moths, it actually flies with a pilot and all, don't know what powers it though!!!:o
Just thought of the name of that little airport, its Luskintyre about 1k on the Singleton side of Lochinvar, it is well worth a visit, they have two hangars there plus a museum and they restore old Tiger Moths. Completely run by enthusiasts they have quite a setup with Tiger Moths all over the place in various states of restoration.:o:D
