I believe truck drivers with a Multi Combination licences also have to have medicals on a similiar basis to public passenger vehicle drivers.
Medical requied every three years for holders of DG license.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Yeah, I'm not sure about such things as DG's they are an add on to your normal truck licence. Would make sense though to have a medical on a regular basis if you are transporting hazardous materials. I have a Heavy Combination licence and I do not have to have a medical for that!!

The medical is a joke, last one I had the Doctor with a funny accent just did a cursory eye test then counted my arms and legs; less than three minutes.

Wow, my Doctor puts me through the mill, which I might add, I appreciate that, because if there are problems looming I want to know about it in advance.!!! I get the whole thing, eyesight, reflexes, hearing, blood pressure, urine tests, etc!!

G'day Jas, Fatty and other embarrassments.

Sorry about the ancient crack Aus - at least I didn't say you had alzhiemers

Fingers crossed Fatty and Jason. Drove home tonight and was wondering whether you have done any good yet.

Hey Jas, Not sure about the wheel carrier yet. I keep the spare inboard around town, I only will bolt one to the door for long trips so it shouldn't trash the door/hinges too quick - I hope.

Why don't you make a couple and stick them on ebay or here in the markets -- you might make a few bucks.
