We where up the bush in our SWB nissan when we seen it he was up there with a mate of his in a rangie.I remember the rangie cause it was that turt colour brownish..

Yep that is the one. he is quite a nice funny and chatty guy.

the build date i am guessing is around 4/1949 so is that a 49 or a 48 as land rover started in april IIRC?

I've never owned a series 1 before so i'd be happy to hold onto it aswell..

And it seems no one wants me to get out of landrovers so one more would'nt hurt..
