    Cautionary Tale

    Hello Everyone,

I am starting to become very cautious about best wishes that things will improve for people.

I sent my regards of things improving for Karen and Jason and then things turned out worse for them both.

I finished reading a book by Richard Paul Evans - no relation as far as I am aware. The book is called The Walk. There are a lot of little maxims written on the left hand pages that mark the start of a new chapter. Yes and a lot of them I could relate to.

One thing I read was on page 98 Don't deceive yourself things can always get worse. I hope that people can avert this from happening.

It always makes me wonder when decent people who do their best towards other people seem to attract more than their fair share of misfortune.

So I hope that every one has reached the bottom of their descent and are finding themselves climbing back upwards and that the trend continues for them.

Here is a song from the American Civil War Hard times come again no more The song was written by an American Composer Stephen Foster over 150 years ago... it still applies today.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Yrf...CKZlXvDZE6SIAA

There is an Emmylou Harris version of the song too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09KCf_-wby4

For a male take of the song there is Johnny Cash - sung late in his life https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LH8T9IvgAOI

I just found my lost favourite version of the song by Mavis Staples https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTmDt4j0F6g - it has got real soul + what sounds like a resonator guitar too.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

an things are backwards for us. Karen went back to work this week I wanted her to wait a week longer or more. She did a 4 hour job on Monday. A 2 hour job on Wednesday & a 3 hour job today. She is now siting on the lounge doubled over in pain. I said to her you should of waited. She said NO I SHOULDNT have. So I can see her needing more time off because she won't wait or go slower.

I haven't had the best of weeks. Depression hit again on Tuesday & was bad yesterday still fighting out of a dark hole now. I hate sitting around not doing any work to the cars specialy Harry. Or any project I build as we look at it as money in the bank when I finish we sell start again. But I have gone so backwards in that department since being here in this house.

Just had enough & sick of a lot of life at the moment.

How much time will you have in Brisvegas on the way home Jim?
I will be flying back from Bundaberg on Fri 4/4/14 to Brisbane arriving at 1305 hrs. Booked to fly out 1505 hrs from Brissy, so maybe time for quick cuppa at Brissy airport Ian. Would be great if you could.

Well, the daughter is home now and getting around in a wheelchair, she has to keep her foot elevated. Flying out tomorrow and will be meeting UncleHo for a cup of coffee in Brisbane before heading up to Bundaberg. Hope to catch up with V8Ian somewhere along the line.

Also hope to have a cuppa with LionelGee and Pop058 in Bundaberg.
