Yep, I'm here, using my grandsons computer, met Paul and Lionel at Bundy airport yesterday. Boy, what a rough landing, flippin 'éck was nearly thrown out of my seat. Roughest landing I have ever experienced.
My daughter has to go to Bundy hospital at 3pm this arvo for a check up, I will be with her to see what the docs say.
Guess what my SIL turned up in to pick me up....................................a Dodge Nitro, crikey what an embarrassment, in front of a couple of Landy nuts too (guess I'm on the right Thread) but having said that it was a nice vehicle, it was four years old in top nick with 140k's in board and drove like a new vehicle.
Hope to catch up with Lionel and Paul for a coffee today or tomorrow.![]()
Had a cup of coffee with LionelGee and Pop058 today and a long conversation. Paul brought the "Green Machine"along and I got some piccies which might interest you Jason. The "Green Machine"still looks good.
Went to the Bundaberg Base hospital with my daughter this afternoon while she had the dressings changed on her wound. It looks nasty but my daughter says it is improving on what it was like last week. There is swelling on the other side of her ankle from the broken bone.
I will post some photo's when I return home.![]()
I just spoke to Jim, we're meeting for coffee tomorrow.![]()
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Hello, we are a poet are we Ian.Looking forward to catching up with you again. Daughter is coming along in her wheel chair to farewell me at Bundy airport. She has been given 15 weeks off work to recover and by the look of the wound, she will need it.The good news is, as the torn flap of skin has not died but looks quite healthy, she will not need a skin graft (phew, I can tell you from personal experience, skin grafts are VERY painful) and also she will not need pins in her ankle. Will have a nasty scar though.
