while Karen is sorting out her medical issues perhaps some of these things could help at home. OH AND ALCOHOL WILL NOT HELP LIVER, SO AVOID IT.
10 tips for liver detox - body+soul
and you will find many such sites by Googling "Liver Cleanse."
Do not trust sites saying buy these expensive pills and you will get well. Trust the sites saying eat broccoli and dandylion root tea-- the ones you can buy anywhere, or grow yourself.
Hopefully these may help.
Sheesh, what a slave driver. Well I made it and had a coffee with Ian and Jerry, thanks guys for making the time available, much appreciated. I loved the catch-up.:D
By the way, I am now home, arrived safe and sound.:D:D No sooner walked in the door when the daughter rang to see if I arrived safely.:D:D
I thought about taking you to see Charley's Southern Cross, Jim. It is, or was, within the airport precinct but I didn't see it on the new road in. In view of the short time you had between planes I felt you might get nervous searching for it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Cross_(aircraft)
"The Southern Cross is now preserved in a special glass hangar memorial on Airport Drive, near the International Terminal at Brisbane Airport in Queensland, Australia."
What I think I might do Ian, seeing as how flying to Brissy is so cheap, is fly up and stay a few days and catchup with all you guys. Maybe tie it in with an AULRO social or something, and then I can have a look at the old aircraft there.:) Won't be for a little while though, have to recover from the financial impost of the expensive Brisbane to Bundaberg flight!!:o
Good idea Jim, you can also bring Jason up with you to help do a little job for me ;) .........
power steering..........:burnrubber:
Thanks for that Ian, you had better be careful, I JUST might keep you to that promise.:D
Well, as promised, I am now posting photo's of my trip to Bundaberg.:)
First photo is my daughter with her leg all wrapped up.

On Wedenesday we took her to Bundaberg hospital to have her wound checked and this is the wound on the outside of her left leg. She said after the dog bit her you could see her tendons and leg bone.:(

The operation took two hours and my daughter said the surgeon did a great job. This is her leg from the other side, the swelling on her ankle is caused by a fractured bone.

While in Bundaberg I caught up with POP058 and Lionelgee. POP058 brought along the "Green Machine" that he bought from Banjo.:) That is POP058 (Paul) on the left and Lionelgee (Lionel).

Cause I had to poke my ugly mug in to prove I was here.:p

This is the only modification Paul has made to the vehicle. You might be interested in this Jason.:)

This is my SIL's Dodge Nitro, he is busily trying to load my daughter into the vehicle for the trip to Bundy Hospital.
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...14/04/1011.jpg
It's a nice car, four years old and goes like a new one. The previous owner certainly looked after it. The previous owner has bought a new Dodge Nitro, same colour and he waves to my SIL when they pass on the road.:)
Well, that's it. Not very nice being chomped on by a mongrel, out of control dog. We have dog's (always have) but people who keep dog's like this should be banned from keeping them. The daughter has re-identified the dog as a Pit Bull cross breed. I can understand her mis-identifying the dog as a Bull Mastiff, but when a mongrel dog wants to turn your ankle into lunch, I think that would be the last thing on your mind.
It must have been a terrifying experience for her, and I am so angry, this took place.
She gets a full cast on next Wednesday (if there are no problems) which she will have to wear for 8 weeks, followed by a special "boot" that she will have to wear for a period of time. She will be off work for 15 weeks.
On the way back to Newcastle I had to change planes at Brisbane airport and V8Ian and JerryD met me there for a quick coffee.

Wonder which bloke is the ugliest, how about we toss a coin, eh, Ian. JerryD is ellergic to photo's so he (quickly) volunteered to take this piccy.
