With the latest Super ripoff, a lot of long distance truckies may be joining him. In an industry where you have to work 70 hours plus per week to make a decent wage, they're now only going to pay super on the first 38 hours - nothing more! :censored:

G'day donh54. I'm guessing you have something to do with the trucking industry. Fortunatley bussies are a bit better off in regard to hours worked. We do, however now have problems in OTR ( on time running) whereby you are not allowed to be more than 2 minutes early or 6 minutes late at the start of a run. This is ridiculous because in a lot of cases if you start a run late (within reasonable times) you can pick up the times during the run.

Every two weeks the bus driver is issued with a report and he must be within 95% OTR.for the two weeks. Needless to say this put unnecessary pressure on the driver.

As far as I'm concerned, at my age, they can get STUFFED.:mad:

We would make a great pair, I am getting fitted out for hearing aids next Thursday week. so with you being half blind and me being half deaf, what a pair we would make.

My hearing is OK in most cases but I have trouble hearing at certain wavelengths (higher pitch such as a woman or a young person talking, or in crowded situations I can't zero in on you if you are talking to me) so hearing aids nowadays can be programmed for the wavelengths you need. Also such things as blue tooth, stereo sound etc are available on the aids.

I also suffer with permanent tinnitus and it sounds like a heard of locusts are there all the time. Can be draining at times.

I have that tinnitus to Jim. But not permanent just a few days a week sometimes only for an hour or so sometimes for the day. I'm always saying what's that ringing & everyone says it's you you idiot :D

Hey Mrs H. I need to parts. You know the bits behind the door latch on the body not the door. There a peice of funny angled gal plate bolts near the latch then back the the rear baulkhead. I need the 2 of them one each side. Would use have them. If so price & postage please. I do have a pic of what I mean but there on my phone. I also desparetly need the 2 front brackets on the chassis off a stage one the brackets the the radiator sits in & the guards bolt to plus the grill surport radiator top bolts to. Desperately need those.

I am reading, just got to work out which bits of the stage 1:)
