I made a Lemmon Gun which worked in a similar way, if a lot cruder. Would it have a loud enough report?

G'Day Billy!!!:D I am assuming you mean would the Bofor have a loud enough report. I honestly don't know, because I haven't seen one set up in this manner. I am guessing that it would not replicate exactly how a Bofor would sound when firing live rounds, but most people looking at it today would not have heard a Bofor firing live rounds anyway. They haven't been used in the Australian army since 1971. But anything to liven up the display would be better than just a static display.
Another thing is the gun would not recoil either, but if you look closely at war movies you will notice there is no recoil in the guns they use.
The whole exercise will be interesting and I would be the first to criticise the accuracy of the sound.
ps. If you look down near the bottom of the link I provided you will see they make kits for LARGE barrel cannons and multi barrel guns.
Here is an American Bofor firing, notice the recoil, would be difficult (impossible) to replicate.:D It's for sale if you want one, would look nice on the front lawn with ferns growing around it.:p

Well what's the outcome Banjo? Dot point will do. ;)
Hi guys
Harry will be out of Hospital tomorrow. He has been there for 14 days after a 9hr surgery. Not sure what else to say..
Mrs hh:angel:
I almost know how he feels after a 3 hour op and 3 days in hospital last week for a prostate removal. A lot of discomfort and inconvenience, but is well worth it for those golden words from the surgeon, saying, we did a biopsy and got it all. Trust you have the same good fortune.
Kind regards
Andrew
