There's a lot to do when starting a business so many things to organise. Getting quotes takes so long. Finding good knife steel can be hard at times. I'm now buying it in for knives. I still use old circular saw blades for the carvers as they seem to work well.
Karen is doing well. Her foot still hasn't heeled properly. Has a permanent limp now. Other then that she is well. Kids are doing fine. Fred's still at maccas. Cody is getting better as he was one some pretty terrible tablets that made him really off. Slept so much. Is on new ones now & picking up slowly.

At long last we have started working on the Bofor at Fort Scratchley. We managed to get the side cover off so we can get to the Breech assembly. Boy, what a job, as we have no original tools we had to take the hinge screw out, as you can imagine the gun is 60 years old so the bolt was frozen in, but with heaps of WD 40 and elbow grease we managed to get it out.
We have to remove the breech assembly to convert the gun to be gas fired so it can imitate real live firing.
It will be on display on the Queens Birthday Monday but only as a static display as we won't have it converted by then. Some tools are coming from Canada which will make it easier to remove the auto loader. Anyrate I will be up at the Fort on that day so look for me near the Bofor.:)
