Just catching up here!! Sleeps don't push yourself to make it by Tues, there is a LOT of driving between Narang and here. Grafton is an hour the other side of Coff's plus the 5 hour drive from Coff's. If you don't make it by Tues, don't worry about it!! If you look like making it, if you want you can ring me say, an hour out from Newcastle, say, around Buladelah and I can meet you and guide you in rather than you trying to find your way in (only a suggestion)!!!

I have the address have been told by a friend to make sure you have a Jerry can on board as the petrol gauge my be dodgy otherwise it is top truck

I am not going to push although I love driving and despite my name, have been quite comfortable with long stint in a Land Rover. Just hope this one doesnt give me any grief.

I drove the series 3 from Coffs with no fuel gauge. Problem was the speedo and oddometer didn't work either . Had to work out my speed by averaging mile-markers . I new I wouldnt get caught speeding
Will have to buy a Jerry Can - found a camping store and TJM in Nerang - should be able to get one there.
Think I'll buy a mattress and sleep in the back.

(And if I get booted off again after pressing send I will scream!)

I tried to post earlier if the 101 was up and running I would bring that down for a photo opportunity but alas it's radiator is out so you will ave to see 'zara' and the defender is no go as the clutch is slipping
