Mrs Aus and myself went over to Jason and Karen's this afternoon for a New Years drink (coffee and choccy biscuits, yumm!!! if you need to know). We spent an enjoyable couple of hours chatting about...............you guessed it..........LANDROVERS!!!! In particular Series type LandRovers, I had my coffee in a cup that Jason bought from America with pictures of Series 111 photo's on each side of it and Jason showed me a Chrissy present that he recieved of a wall plaque with pictures of Series LandRovers on it. I HAVE TO GET ME ONE OF THEM!!!!
Seeing as how it was purchased at Morpeth which is only a 30 minute drive from my place, guess where I'll be on my next day off!!

An enjoyable afternoon was spent and we thank Karen and Jason for their hospitality!!!

Karen & I had a fantastic time chatin to Aus & his wife who is a lovely lady .NA the cups where given to me for my birthday off Dale , I love em.

Hey Aus if ya head to morpeth you could call in see those landys that bloke has in his yard Ya may come home with a new toy....
Id love to actualy call in & look at them all BUT i would want them all & dont have the $$$ to buy more..

OK Aus, I haven't seen anywhere were you are buying a series landy till the other day, what has bought this on, orrrr are you envious of the friends that own them

OH the one in Murarrie/Armidale looks good

Lets just say, Banjo's exhuberance and enthsuiasm is catching.When you are talking to him there is a "LandRover Aura" around him and his enthusiasm for all things "LandRover" is mind boggling!!!

Tell you what Banjo, when I am ready to go up to Morpeth, I will give you a phone call and you and Karen can come up in the "Green Machine" to see all these Landies for yourself!!!...........is that a deal!!!!Sorry about the cups, I misheard you, which is easy for a deaf old bloke like me!!!!

you haven't been here all talk is land Rover here when anyone visits right down to our screen savers on our computers

Right to find you a good one then, any preferance,? short or long WB, series III or IIa, no maybe a series 1

Did find a whole heap of tin signs of landrovers on ebay tho..

Same here my desktop is the green one & when its not being used every pics that pops up is a landy from all over the world..

I even have landy face washes.. Towels to come when mother settles into the new house , she has one of those super dooper wiz bang sewing machines thst do embroidery & has now got the program to do copies of photos..
