Sounds like you are having a "fun time" Jason. Yeah, modern cars can be a complete headache.
I joined a new forum last week. It's pretty specialised and there are only 370 members on it and it's pretty quiet. It's called "Australian Air Defence Artillery Association" and it's only open to those who have served in some manner in an Australian air defence unit, and me having served on Bofors anti aircraft guns, I thought it might be interesting. I even had to send them a recent photo of myself.

I had to send them my old service number and the name of the unit I was in so they could check it out before granting me admission. As I said the Forum is pretty quiet with such a small number of members, but the photo section in it is pretty interesting to somebody like me.

Anyrate that's it from me, hope all is well with you all.

It's been a bit quite here lately.... We have been back from our S.A. trip about 3 weeks, there is a trip report if you want to look at the photos, here http://www.aulro.com/afvb/sa-reports...-new-post.html and there are LOTS of photos Besides the ones I put up o FB

I now have a Sunday job in a commercial kitchen which I very much enjoy, Macca's wasn't giving me many hours so I took it on, now they are giving me 5 days a week Will see how it goes, though I am enjoying the extra money ATM. Nothing much else to say.....

Well I had a busy weekend back at home with family up and down for my brothers weddings(photos to come). it was a really good day/night and the first time my brothers and i had been alone in 6 years, so it was good to sit around a table and chat and drink.
I also managed to take the forward control for a quick spin out the back of the house. unfortunately I don't have many good photos or videos as I was the only one there and hence was driving.

    very windy unfortunately

It sure has. The dams and creeks were pretty low before hand.

Had some drama during the week. My MIL who is 86 years old lives by herself in a retirement village. She suddenly passed out last Friday and collapsed hitting her head on a vanity unit and dislocating her shoulder.

She was unconscious for about an hour and a half and the neighbour in the next unit heard her crying out for help. MIL was too weak to get up and an ambulance was called and took her to John Hunter Hospital, where she spent the weekend getting various tests done and they managed to put her shoulder back in. She had a nasty bruise on the left side of her face and also down her arm. Her left arm is now in a sling.

She was released from hospital on Monday and is now staying with us so we can keep an eye on her until she fully recovers. We are arranging for one of those "Vital Call" alarms so she can wear it around her neck and push the button if she needs help.

Bit of a scare for us.

Off work at the moment with a cold. Had a flue shot a couple of weeks ago, probably a side effect from that.

Don't think the Shift Supervisor was too happy when I told him I needed a few days off, I think they are struggling to fill the shifts. Anyrate, can't help it if I'm sick. I can't drive a bus while coughing and sneezing and my nose constantly running.

Doctor gave me four days off.

I've missed a lot because I haven't been around for ages. Just popped in to tell Banjo to check out the pics I sent him and to reply to me on here - let me know if they were useful or you want more..
