Sorry for the MilSpeak, force of habit. I had become a civvy for a while, but recent contact with the vehicles and subject matter has me flashing back a bit ;)
Od- Olive, Drab (Green) or Drab Olive if you are normal.
Cam (ouflage) or AustCam(OzCam)/ Disruptive Patter Camouflage (a bit redundant) Used to be like th evehicles are spraued then they brought in the digital pattern you see on the canvas canopies.

thanks barefoot dave,
today was my first auction that i payed some attention to and quite an experience it was. it's somehow very emotional. fortunately you can't work yourself into a similar group hysteria as you see at on site auctions.
i believe to have seen the numbers for different types of vehicles and their auctioning locations at aulro. but where... will you include that info in your guide? has anyone kept track of the number of landies that have been auctioned so far (in this years clearance, that is)?
about the list of different types of vehicles; are there some that would be driven with a lighter foot by nature of the type of work its detachment does (like not regularly throwing them out of airplanes)?
cheers,
pasi
ok i have a question, how do i put my 6x6 into 6x6 ?? i was told they are 4x4 until you engage it into 6x6, i have no manual telling me how to do it or do it so i dont break nothing.there is a switch on the dash something about cross country and on road i think it said from memory lol busy pulling it apart at the moment and have not really taken it for a good drive yet. really would love a manual for one of these on how to service these things best.
hope someone can help me
It surprises me DOD have not issued user manuals for these...
Or who ever printed them to do a new civilian print run, might help a lot of people out.
I think REMLR might have some information but they seem very reluctant to offer it out so I am led to believe.
Hopefully Dave will offer the manual to purchase in the near future.
When you lock the centre diff it also engages the third axle. Easy!
Oh yeah, the centre diff lock is the pneumatic switch labelled cross country :D
thanks!! i thought that might be it but was not 100% on this...my 130 does not have the 3rd axle haha
UPDATE:
Getting close folks.
Vehicle Inspection guides are close to finished, to be sent out for trial prior to release.
THE guide is VERY close. been focussing on the Inspection guides to get things rolling while waiting for info on Tenix projects. That is proving difficult.
My RFSV should be home by the end of next week. Can't really release a buyers guide without buying one first, eh?
EMEI/ MOD cross reference is complete as I can get it without original workshop schedules, to be checked by RAEME/ Spanner types.
Will see if Blknights is better.
Word on the streets is: you can expect the auctions to become monthly in many locations. There is an apparant issue with CES/ all spare wheels not being supplied and worrying talk of pallet loads of covers being dumped and CES going for scrap. If you have contacts in Log/ RAEME/ Q areas, please let me know so things can be saved!
More on this to follow, Wait out.
