The numbers are prawns per pound. So the smaller the number the larger the prawns. U means under (less than). So U10 size prawns are <10 per pound, so likely 5-6" long prawns.Quote:

U15 means 15 or less per kg, basically its the size of the prawn....Quote:

21/30 are a lot smaller because it takes more prawns to a pound of weight.
If you compare the prices I quote with your local supplier or shop, make sure you find out the count per pound, not just large , medium or small.
Depends on what market you sell into depends on how you size prawns, but mainly in Australia you will have,

Don't panick if you see those sizes as they are correct, they are just mainly prawns that were packed for a certain market and for some reason they have been sold locally.
